Green Tech tours offer students hands-on experience to innovative, state-of-the-art technology and real-life exposure to the new green economy.
Students learn Green Tech principles, becoming good stewards of the environment while actively learning critical elements of construction design, trades, science and engineering. Green Tech prepares them for the necessary skills to become self-sufficient adults in an ever-changing competitive workforce.
Turner provides green building training to employees and encourages employee to attain LEED Professional accreditation. Turner has 1,400 LEED accredited professionals.

Green Tech students are shown here at the Green Tech Tour of the California Independent Systems Operater (ISO). They viewed the high tech control center for the state's electric grid and were given a demonstration of how the system delivers electricity. The ISO transmits power, energy, elecricity throughout California. The students recieved a presentation of how the system works and career opportunities.
